About Blaque
Founded in 2018 by Monique, Blaque became fully focused on sugaring in 2019—with Brazilian sugaring as the specialty. Here, clients are never just another appointment. Your service is lighthearted and tailored to your hair, skin, concerns and comfort.
Monique works efficiently without making you feel rushed. She remembers your skin history, your progress and probably where you left off in the story from your last appointment.

You do not need to know everything before you arrive—that’s our job. Here’s what you need to know to get started.
Stop shaving at least 2 weeks before. Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice. Exfoliate at least 24 hours beforehand and wear comfortable clothing.
Being nervous is normal. Monique works efficiently, but you will never be rushed. Need a break? Say so. Comfort and a thorough service come first.
Book your first 3 appointments approximately 3 weeks apart. After that, established maintenance is typically every 4–5 weeks.
At 6 weeks or more since your last Brazilian with Monique/Blaque, book a First-Time Brazilian so enough time is reserved.
Do not shave or use Nair or other depilatory products. They disrupt the growth cycle and the progress we are building.
Avoid excessive heat, sweat and friction, including sex, strenuous workouts, saunas and hot tubs.
Periods are okay—wear a clean tampon or cup; tampons are available in studio. Pregnant clients are welcome, and the bed adjusts for comfort.

For 24 hours avoid excessive heat, sweat and friction, including sex, strenuous workouts, saunas and hot tubs.
There is a 5-minute grace period. At 15 minutes late, the appointment is automatically cancelled and a 50% no-show fee is charged.
Yes, with a guardian and only when the minor is comfortable and willing. We will not proceed with an intimate service if a young client appears unwilling, distressed or uncomfortable.
